Where: Bologna

What to expect:
Cersaie presents tiles and slabs for every style - traditional, transitional, and contemporary - in a huge multi-building complex. The trends observed here often indicate what’s soon to be popular in the USA.
The manufacturing processes in Italy are now so high-tech, that products made of faux stone and wood look and feel like the real thing. (The North American equivalent, Coverings, is a smaller alternative if you want to reduce travel time and costs. This year it takes place April 20-23 in New Orleans.)
This is not one of those interior design fairs, where the VIP keynote is the only valuable event (although the starchitect Norman Foster delivered the address in 2016), but you get to mingle and hang out with colleagues in a beautiful gothic and renaissance city.

Who should go:
A commercial interior designer or architect, kitchen and bath remodeler, or stone and tile distributor should go.

Useful hacks:
Offer free espresso, desserts, cocktails, etc on your booth. At such a big event, people are bound to get tired, hungry, and thirsty, so offering eatables will increase the chances of people coming to your booth.

The Nina Johnson Gallery,  the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens are also worthy options.
